Maryam Sadeghi has developed unique solutions for the prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancer by taking advantage of artificial intelligence using low-cost devices armed with mobile technologies, such as smart phones, for tele-dermatology. Her team has developed and launched UV Canada—a free public health education app for sun protection. She has also developed programs that can analyze dermoscopy images using intelligent computer technologies for skin cancer detection and screening.
