NSERC Indigenous Student Ambassadors
The NSERC Indigenous Student Ambassadors (NISA) grant promotes interest and participation in natural sciences and engineering, through the visits of Indigenous students and fellows to Indigenous communities and schools. NSERC encourages qualified Indigenous students and fellows to apply for this award.
Ingenium–NSERC STEAM Horizon Awards
The objective of the Ingenium–NSERC STEAM Horizon Awards is to promote the fields of science, technology, engineering, art and design, and mathematics (STEAM) to the next generation of scientists and engineers. The award will be given to individuals who clearly demonstrate inspiring achievement in these fields by applying their passion to have an impact on their community. Winners can approach their passion for technology and science from any angle, whether from an art and design perspective, research project, public outreach or development of a new idea or product. Winners of the Ingenium–NSERC STEAM Horizon Awards will show strong potential to become ambassadors for STEAM fields for younger generations.
Undergraduate Student Research Awards
The Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) are meant to nurture your interest and fully develop your potential for a research career in the natural sciences and engineering. They are also meant to encourage you to undertake graduate studies in these fields. If you would like to gain research experience in an academic setting, these awards can provide you with financial support through your host institution. NSERC encourages qualified Indigenous students to apply to this program.
